At Lyons Hall Primary School we offer a range additional extra curricular activities such as music lessons, swimming, school trips and various before and after school clubs.
Listed below are a number of music lessons that take place within the school day. These lessons are available to all children at Lyons Hall who wish to learn to play a musical instrument. Essex Music Services offer competitive rates to Lyons Hall School so if your child is interested in playing a musical instrument please come along to the school office where further information is available. If you are in receipt of receiving free school meals entitlement you are also eligible for a discounted termly voucher -again for further information please come along to the school office to collect this.
Monday – Singing
Wednesday – Guitar/Violin/Piano/Keyboard
Thursday – Guitar/Piano/Keyboard/Brass
Friday – Saxophone/Clarinet/Recorder/Flute
Lyons Hall Primary School offer many sporting clubs to the children throughout the year for all year groups. These are as follows: Football for Boys and Girls, Netball, Tag Rugby, Tennis, Badminton, Street Cheer, Dancing, Pass Football, Cricket, Athletics, Gymnastics, Rounders, Cross Country, Multi Skills and Self Defence. Throughout the school year our children are given the opportunity to go on various school trips organised by the class teachers which are linked to the curriculum. This year and in previous years we have visited the following places:

Year 6 – Duxford Air Museum/Aylmerton, Norfolk
